Copper Invaders

The impurities that ruin real copper strip — oxygen, sulfur, iron, lead — are invading in formation. Shoot them down before they reach the melt. Destroyed invaders drop copper nuggets: catch eight to upgrade the strip cannon. Slag drips and kamikaze divers cost a rig, and every fifth wave a slag boulder blocks the sky.

Copper Invaders is an arcade game. The impurity effects quoted on wave banners (oxygen embrittlement, sulfur stringers, iron vs conductivity, lead hot shortness) are simplified, indicative guidance from the Aldward Metals technical library — not certified data, and no substitute for a controlled datasheet.
How it plays

Every enemy is a real copper impurity

Know your invaders

O and S go down in one hit. Fe takes two, Pb takes three — the same order in which they stubbornly resist refining in a real melt shop.

Upgrade the cannon

Destroyed invaders drop copper nuggets. Catch eight and the strip cannon steps up — single bolt, twin bolts, then a three-way spread.

Dodge the slag

Invaders rain slag drips, and from wave two they dive at the rig. A hit costs a rig and knocks the cannon back a level — you get three per game.

Break the boulder

Every fifth wave a slag boulder sweeps the sky, spraying three-way drips. Crack it open for a nugget shower and a big bonus.
