The published tolerance tables, sourced

EN 1652 / BS EN 1652 and ASTM B248 thickness and width tolerances for cold-rolled copper and copper-alloy strip — the same numbers the calculator uses, with the source URL on every row. UK adopts EN unchanged (BS 2870 / BS 2875 were withdrawn in 1998). ASTM uses its own scale and does not map one-to-one.

Filter shows only rows whose thickness range includes your value and whose width range includes your value. Empty filter → show all rows for the active table.

History

What about BS 2870 / BS 2875?

Both were withdrawn by BSI in April 1998 following ratification of EN 1652. The UK adopted EN unchanged as BS EN 1652:1997. There is no separate British tolerance table to research — UK buyers who still quote BS 2870/2875 part sizes are matched to the BS EN 1652 table. The retired BS designations (CZ108, PB102, NS106, C101, …) are shown beside their current EN codes on each alloy's datasheet in the alloy library.
